João Afonso Fialho, Head Partner of the Oil & Gas Practice, will participate in the 5th Timor-Leste Energy, Mining & Business Forum 2025, taking place from 24 to 26 November in Dili, Timor-Leste. The event brings together government decision-makers, regulators, industry representatives and investors to discuss strategic priorities for the country’s energy, mining and economic development sectors.

Organised by The Energy Circle and the Net Zero Circle by IN-VR, with the institutional support of the National Petroleum Authority (ANP) and the National Minerals Authority (ANM), the Forum focuses on three main areas: mineral investment, regulatory framework and opportunities in the oil sector, and policies aimed at integrating the local economy and businesses.

João Afonso Fialho’s participation adds a legal and strategic perspective that is particularly relevant to discussions on the investment landscape and the development of Timor-Leste’s natural resources.
