The 1st Congress on Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) will take place from 22 to 23 May at the Altis Grand Hotel in Lisbon. 

Margarida Couto will participate on 22 May at 11:45 am in the panel "Sustainability Reporting Duties (CSRD/ESRS)" with the topic "Reporting on business conduct". Ana Perestrelo de Oliveira, in her turn, will speak at 02:45 pm in the panel "Sustainable Governance" on the topic "ESG and Article 64 of the CSC," followed by Miguel Ventura, who will address the theme "ESG and the business judgment rule". 

Ana Perestrelo de Oliveira will return on the final day of the event, 23 May, for the Congress closing session. 

This event aims to analyse the main national and European developments related to corporate sustainability, including legislative and regulatory changes that impact ESG practices, reports, and assessments. The event is aimed at professionals and students in legal, academic, and public sectors, as well as anyone interested in the topic.
