Catarina Pinto Correia will participate in the 5th edition of the "InSustentável" Congress - the annual congress on sustainability in the value chain, taking place on 22 May at the NOVA School of Business and Economics in Carcavelos.
The VdA lawyer will speak at 02:30 pm in the panel titled "How to Understand the Legislative Tsunami?", which will address regulatory challenges related to sustainability, highlighting topics such as: sustainability reporting, due diligence obligations, taxonomy, environmental claims (green claims), product passports, critical raw materials, and nature renewal. The panel will explore how to interpret, prioritise, and prepare businesses to comply with these obligations, promoting strategies that ensure legal compliance, competitiveness, and progress in environmental commitments.
This Congress will focus on resource valorisation and waste transformation to develop bioeconomy, encouraging the sharing of strategies, practices, and business models aligned with sustainable development goals.
