Américo Oliveira Fragoso and Iakovina Kindylidi took part in the ‘Artificial Intelligence & Global Ethics’ conference organised by NOVA School of Law on 26 November.
 
The event aimed to analyse the impact of automation on the labour market, privacy issues and the ethical implications of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the legal field.
 
Américo Oliveira Fragoso presented the topic ‘Impact of AI on the Job Market’, reflecting on the potential of AI and automation processes in the labour market.
 
Iakovina Kindylidi moderated a panel entitled ‘Implementing Ethical Frameworks and the AI Act in Practice: Opportunities and Challenges’. This panel focussed on the practical application of ethical frameworks in real-world situations, exploring the opportunities and challenges of this implementation.
