Gonçalo Mesquita Ferreira lectures at the course ‘The Agrarian Legislation: National and European Law’, organised by the Instituto Superior de Agronomia.
This course aims to address the legal issues that impact agriculture and the business sector, exploring the agricultural legal context in Portugal and European standards, with an emphasis on the challenges of sustainability and climate transition that agricultural businesses are facing.
The course structure includes topics such as Introduction to Agricultural Law, History of Agricultural Law and Agricultural Policy in Portugal and Europe, National Agricultural Law, Legal Regime of the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) and national legislative application, Sustainable Management of Agriculture, Artificial Intelligence in agriculture and agribusiness, among others.
The course takes place from 10 January to 1 February, and applications are open until 19 December.
