VdA backs the official launch of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Sao Tome and Principe (CCISTP), after having provided assistance in its establishment and been admitted as a full member.

The CCISTP has the mission of promoting bilateral and multilateral economic relations between Portugal and Sao Tome and Principe. Raul Mota Cerveira, the partner responsible for coordinating VdA’s activity in this African jurisdiction, was elected President of the Chamber’s General Assembly.

CCISTP’s presentation dinner, which was attended by the Ambassador of the Democratic Republic of Sao Tome and Principe to Portugal, was held on 9 November, gathering 50 business people.

Raul Mota Cerveira delivered a presentation at this event on the topic “Legal issues to keep in mind when investing in Sao Tome and Principe”.

VdA has been present in Sao Tome and Principe since 2015 through its partner law firm, Solima & Associados.
