On 24 October, the Centro Cultural de Belém hosted the 14th National Meeting of Portuguese Law Firms, an initiative of the Portuguese Law Firms Association (ASAP), which brought together professionals and decision-makers from the legal sector to reflect on the present and future of the legal profession in Portugal.

VdA actively participated in the event, with Fernando Resina da Silva, Partner at VdA, moderating the panel 'Challenges and Opportunities Faced by Young Lawyers'.

The discussion, featuring Rodrigo Rocha Andrade (TELLES), Maria Inês Costa (Miranda & Associados), José Maria Alves Pereira (Abreu Advogados), Patrícia Gomes Fino (Cuatrecasas) and Sara de Faria Moreira (DLA Piper), highlighted the importance of listening to and valuing the new generations who are shaping the future of the profession.

The meeting was also marked by a moment of recognition and inspiration — a tribute to Jorge Bleck, Partner at VdA, who was honoured with one of the ASAP Career Awards for his exceptional career and outstanding contribution to the legal profession in Portugal.
