In the scope of the "UN Ocean Conference 2022", an event promoted by the United Nations, Assunção Cristas (Of Counsel, head of the firm’s ESG Integrated Services Platform and Environment practice area) participates in several conferences related to the event.
In addition to the participation of Assunção Cristas as speaker and moderator of several panels, several areas of VdA will be present in numerous thematic events through Partners Manuel Protásio , Ana Luís de Sousa, José Miguel Oliveira, Isabel Giao Andrade, Catarina Pinto Correia and the Associate Carolina Vaza.
The Head of ESG Integrated Services Platform and of VdA's Environment practice area, participated at the event "UN Ocean Conference Youth and Innovatio Forum", which took place on 24, 25 and 26 June at Carcavelos beach.
On June 27, Assunção Cristas participates as a speaker in the panel on "Sustainable Ocean(s) - Rebuilding Ocean Fauna and Flora | Circular Investments”, promoted by The Reef Company.
The following day, VdA's Of Counsel will moderates a panel Sustainable Ocean Principles: a framework for responsible Business action in the ocean in the Sustainable Blue Economy Investment Forum (SBEIF), a special event dedicated to investment.
Closing the Oceans Week on July 1st, Assunção Cristas takes part in the panel debate on Digital Solutions for the Future promoted by the Digital with Purpose Movement.
The UN Ocean Conference takes place in Lisbon between 27 June and 1 July.
