Vieira de Almeida (VdA) and ITS Portugal are pleased to announce the Conference “The Future of Intelligent Mobility and Infrastructures in Portugal” to be held on 24 February from 2:30 to 5:30 p.m.
Road mobility is undergoing major transformations driven by digitalisation, automation and connectivity. Vehicles are not only more connected but also increasingly autonomous, evolving from a good to a service. Infrastructures are becoming increasingly smart and an integral part of the Internet of Things (IoT). New forms of road mobility are a central instrument for advancing the digital and green transition, contributing to greater safety, accessibility and sustainability, as well as to the shared economy.
This conference will reflect on the topics of Future Mobility Opportunities and Autonomous Vehicles and Intelligent Infrastructure, bringing together both national and international speakers to discuss where we currently stand and the way forward.
The event will have sessions held in English and other sessions held in Portuguese, as specified below.
