WhatNext.Law is organising the event ‘Fair Markets in the 21st Century: Digital Transition, Artificial Intelligence and Technological Neutrality’, which will take place on 8 May.

This event is dedicated to the perspectives of key stakeholders on the new challenges and opportunities of digital markets. The session will be conducted in Portuguese and in person, with the participation of representatives from ANACOM, OLX, Worten, among others, who will share their perspectives on topics such as digital market regulation, compliance, legislative simplification and supervision.

This event is part of a broader conference, which will include a day dedicated to academic research on digital markets, artificial intelligence and consumer protection, to be held on 9 May, between 9 a.m. and 6.30 p.m., at the NOVA School of Law. This day will feature the presentation of papers selected under the conference's Call for Papers. It will also feature Professor Cristiana Santos (University of Utrecht) as keynote speaker, a renowned expert in digital regulation and consumer and online user rights.
