VdA was recognised with the 'Lusophone Africa – International Firm' award at the IFLR Africa Awards 2026.

This distinction reflects VdA’s position in the international legal sector and recognises the work carried out by the VdA Legal Partners network in advising on cross-border transactions and projects across the African continent.

PRIME Advogados, a member of the VdA Legal Partners network in Angola, was also distinguished with the 'National Law Firm of the Year: Angola' award, while Djamila Pinto de Andrade, PRIME Advogados Partner, received the 'Lawyer of the Year: Angola' award.

The awards ceremony took place on 17 March at the Mount Nelson Hotel in Cape Town, South Africa.
