In this guide, the VdA lawyers sign the chapter ‘Portugal: Trends & Developments’, in which they analyse the legal regime applicable to the advertising of pharmaceutical products in Portugal.

According to the authors, although legislation on advertising of medicinal products has remained unchanged for decades, the pharmaceutical market has evolved rapidly. This evolution is reflected, in particular, in the use of new communication channels and the entry of new players into the sector.
