Applications are now open for the second edition of the AI.Moot Court, an initiative of VdA Academia, developed in collaboration with YouLearn Academy, which challenges students to take part in a mock trial using Generative Artificial Intelligence (AI).

Aimed at law, international relations and political science students from the 2nd year of their degree onwards, this competition offers a hands-on experience where legal rigour meets technological innovation. Throughout the AI.Moot Court, participants are invited to develop essential legal skills and to address complex challenges, exploring the potential of AI applied to the legal context.

The AI.Moot Court is held in English, is free and lasts eleven weeks, during which students complete three missions, spread over three phases.

The competition prizes include, among others, €8,000 for the winning team, €1,000 for the second-placed team, summer internships at VdA and other workshops and experiences.
