Tiago Bessa attended the XVI Postgraduate Course in Intellectual Law, organised by the Portuguese Intellectual Law Association (APDI) in partnership with the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon.
The course, which took place on 15 March, brought together experts and academics to debate emerging challenges in the field of intellectual law. Tiago Bessa led a workshop dedicated to the ‘Legal Problems of the Information Society’, where he addressed complex issues related to the regulation of the digital environment, data protection, online platforms and technological innovation.
His speech emphasised the importance of a robust legal approach adapted to the rapid pace of digital transformation, reinforcing VdA's commitment to contributing to the advancement of legal knowledge and the ongoing training of future specialists in the field.
