Sara Pinto Ferreira joined VdA in 2024. She is a consultant in the Information, Communication & Technology practice.
She worked as a trainee in the Information, Communication & Technology area of practice (2018-2019). Counseled entities on data protection and privacy, including executing compliance programs. Provided advice to clients about electronic communications, information technology, e-commerce and air law, as well as participating in submarine cable projects and writing universal access studies. Advised on space law matters, including integrating the Portuguese spaceport public tender project and researching space law and cybersecurity for a commissioned study. Represented the firm in The Hague International Space Resources Governance Working Group meetings.
In 2016, she was a summer trainee in the Projects – Infrastructure, Energy & Natural Resources area of practice.

In 2017 she was a trainee in the European Space Agency’s Legal Services Department in Paris, France.
In 2017 she interned in the Criminal Litigation, Misdemeanor Litigation and Compliance area of practice of the Morais Leitão, Galvão Teles, Soares da Silva & Associados law firm.
In 2016, she undertook the responsibilities of an intern in the Portuguese National Centre for Information and Arbitration of Consumer Disputes (CNIACC).
