Tiago Peyroteo

Tiago Peyroteo joined VdA in 2022. He is an Associate in the Banking & Finance practice, focusing on the regulated financial sector, particularly the asset management segment, providing ongoing advice on regulatory and legal matters, notably on the establishment of collective investment undertakings and the legal monitoring of their management entities, as well as in relation to transactions involving the acquisition and disposal of assets under management or shareholdings in such entities.

He also provides regulatory and legal advice to credit institutions and financial intermediaries operating in the capital markets and has also participated in domestic and cross-border financing transactions.

Bachelor’s degree in Law from the Faculty of Law, University of Lisbon.

Master’s Degree in Business Law from the Faculty of Law of the Portuguese Catholic University – Lisbon School, with a thesis entitled: “Green Bonds and the Proposed European Regulation on European Green Bonds: a step forward or a step backwards?”.

In 2025, he completed a secondment at Liedekerke Wolters Waelbroeck Kirkpatrick SRL’s Brussels office, within the Financial Services Regulatory practice.

He joined VdA as a trainee in the Banking & Finance practice, and also worked in the Real Estate & Planning practice.

In 2020, he also completed a summer internship in the Banking & Finance practice at VdA.

Admitted to the Portuguese Bar Association.
