Miguel González Amado
Miguel González Amado joined VdA in 2021. He is a Managing Associate of the Tax practice.
He has over 14 years of experience providing across-the-board tax advice.
Miguel focuses on providing tax advice to national and international groups in connection with corporate restructurings and real estate transactions, and to private clients in connection with direct and indirect taxation, taxes on wealth and stamp duty. He also has ample experience in tax litigation and in managing tax inspection, tax enforcement, and tax offense procedures.

Postgraduate degree in Tax Law, Universidade do Porto Law School.
Ph.D. in Law, Universidade do Porto Law School (not completed – enrolment suspended).
Miguel participates regularly as a speaker on tax issues in various conferences and seminars. He also teaches seminars in cooperation with law and business schools.
Before joining the firm, Miguel González Amado was a Tax Lawyer at other national and international law firms and at a Big4 Accounting firm.
