Marina Costa Cabral joined VdA in 2018. She is a Senior Associate at the Employment & Benefits’ area of practice where she has been involved in a vast number of transactions, labour restructurings and court cases, in several jurisdictions (Portugal, Angola, Cape Verde, Mozambique, Sao Tome and Principe and Timor-Leste).
Marina provides assistance to clients of various sectors, such as, sports, pharmaceutical, banking, automobile, retail, energy, oil and gas, on their day-to-day activities, as well as on complex matters, including transfers of employees and other cumbersome M&A deals.
During 2018 and 2019, she was the Firm’s local head of the Timor-Leste office. In such capacity she was responsible for the Firm’s business development and advised the main stakeholders in the energy, financial and telecommunications sectors and in several areas of Law (corporate, labour and social security, banking, tax, litigation, oil and gas, mining and public).
In 2024, Marina was seconded to Jeantet’s Employment Practice, in Paris.
