Mariana Vicente

Mariana Vicente joined VdA in 2022. She is an Associate in the Environment & Climate Change practice, having previously integrated the area of Banking & Finance as an Associate, where she worked in providing legal advice on banking and capital markets matters, both on a regulatory and transactional level, notably corporate finance transactions, including standalone and syndicated loan transactions and the issue and placement of debt instruments, capital increases and admissions to listing, public and private offerings of securities and the drafting of due diligence reports in this area. Her assignments also included the drafting of legal opinions, corporate and regulatory documentation, due diligence reports and other pieces of advice on Banking & Finance matters.

Before joining the area, Mariana also integrated the Economy & Human Rights area of practice as a Trainee.

Law degree by the Portuguese Catholic University’s Faculty of Law.

Master’s degree in Law and Management by NOVA School of Business and Economics and NOVA School of Law.

Research Associate at the NOVA Knowledge Centre for Business, Human Rights and the Environment.

Before joining the firm she worked at TELLES law firm for 7 months as a trainee in the area of Corporate and M&A, where she worked in advising on corporate and governance matters, including the review and provision of legal support to day-to-day activities of companies in general and their financial topics particularly, including the incorporation, modification and dissolution of commercial companies, mergers, demergers and transformations, actively collaborating as well on M&A transactions.

Admitted to the Portuguese Bar Association.
