Beatriz Francisco da Costa

Beatriz Francisco da Costa joined VdA in 2018. She is an Associate at the Banking & Finance area of practice, where she works on cross-border and domestic transactions, advising issuers, originators, arrangers and other market players, particularly on securitisation and warehousing. She also plays an active role in real estate finance transactions (including those financed by bond issuances) and in the issuance and placement of debt instruments in several jurisdictions, supporting clients from structuring through to closing, as well as drafting and negotiating the relevant documentation.

From August 2020 to December 2021, she worked as an in-house secondee lawyer at two investment banks, advising on derivatives-related matters.

From May 2022 to April 2023, she worked as a secondee at a London-based law firm, where she was actively involved in the structuring of securitisation and derivatives transactions.

Law degree, Faculty of Law, University of Lisbon.

Post-graduation in Corporate Law, Católica University Lisbon.
