VdA trains NGOs for Development

Vieira de Almeida & Associados (VdA) hosted an information session on the 9 November addressed at several NGOs for development. The conference took place at VdA's auditorium in Lisbon and approached issues regarding Tax Law and Patronage. The firm's managing associate and senior associate Conceição Gamito and Patrícia Sousa Lima, from the Tax area of practice and Telecoms & Media area of practice, respectively, were speakers at the information session together with lawyers from Miranda, under the joint cooperation established for the support of these institutions.

The afternoon information session was organized at the request of the Portuguese NGOs for Development Platform under the Cooperation Protocol the latter established with the two law firms. The Portuguese NGOs for Development Platform's mission is to promote Portuguese NGO's good practices at a political, legal and social level acknowledging that the Portuguese NGO's for Development strive for a fairer world, working together with Developing countries in areas such as Cooperation, Education and Communication as well as providing Humanitarian and Emergency Aid.
