VdA is shortlisted for the ‘Women in Business Law Awards 2025’, in the categories ‘Women in Business Law - National Firm’ and ‘Portugal Firm of the Year’.
In addition to these categories, VdA has the following individual nominations:
- Assunção Cristas: ‘ESG Leader of the Year’ and ‘Environment Lawyer of the Year’;
- Mariana França Gouveia: ‘Commercial Arbitration Lawyer of the Year’;
- Conceição Gamito: ‘Tax Dispute Resolution Lawyer of the Year’;
- Betyna Jaques: ‘Arbitration Rising Star’;
- Rita Pereira de Abreu: ‘Tax Rising Star’.
The winners will be announced at a ceremony to be held on 25 June in London.
The Women in Business Law Awards, promoted by the Legal Benchmarking Group, aim to recognise female lawyers who have excelled over the past year in areas such as corporate finance, commercial, IP, tax and dispute resolution, and firms that lead the way in diversity initiatives. In addition to honouring professional achievements, the awards highlight the fundamental role of women in the legal profession and in transforming the legal sector.
