The entry of José Pedro Fazenda Martins in VdA’s college of partners takes part on the strengthening strategy of the firm, settled in organic growth, high specialization, innovation and delivering outstanding legal services to its clients.
It also represents the focus on the Capital Markets practice, in order to answer the high challenges that our clients face in this sector in our economic, institutional and regulatory environment.
The new partner has a Law degree by the University of Lisbon and Master in Legal Sciences. He is a founding member of the Securities Law Institute created by University of Lisbon and has an extensive experience in the Capital Markets sector where he is been actively involved in the most important transactions of the last five years, such as takeover bids, public offer privatizations, among others.
José Pedro Fazenda Martins has a rare professional and academic path, with a high degree of public acknowledgement, being internationally recognised by renowned directories such as Best Lawyers, Chambers Global, Chambers Europe, IFLR and Legal 500.
VdA has now 40 partners, more than 250 lawyers and is present in 11 jurisdictions.
