The University of Lisbon School of Law (FDUL) team in the Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot, supported by VdA’s Litigation & Arbitration practice area in the context of an exclusive protocol between FDUL and VdA, qualified for the first time for the final rounds of the competition, ranking amongst the best 64 teams from the 385 participants.

The team is coordinated by Prof. Doctor José Ferreira Gomes (FDUL) and by Filipe Rocha Vieira, managing associate at VdA. It also has as coaches António Pestana Araújo, associate, on VdA’s side, as well as Catarina Coelho and Carolina Nagy, on FDUL’s side.

The team is composed by students Diogo Canário, Inês Bastos, Rita Santos, Rodrigo Saydelles and Tomás Rebelo.

Rita Santos received an honourable mention for best individual oralist of the competition.
