Rodrigo Esteves de Oliveira was interviewed by SAPO24 about the recommendations of members of parliament concerning cheaper tolls for motorcycles.

Over a year ago, the Portuguese Parliament voted in favour of the introduction of an exclusive category for motorcycles, for toll collection purposes. This vote was formalised in resolution no. 21 of 2018, approved on 5 January and published in the Official Gazette of the Republic of Portugal on the 25th of that same month, which to this day has had no practical consequences.

The VdA partner argues that this resolution “is a hybrid concept, legally odd and heterogeneous. It is recognised by the Constitution; however, its value is residual”.
