Frederico Calei (Trainee) writes an article for the Angolan Law and Jurisprudence Magazine on "The organization of the oil sector in Angola in light of Law No. 5/19 of April 18 - Law amending the Law on Oil Activities.

"To reorganize the oil sector with the implementation of a new model of systematization and coordination among the institutions that regulate oil activities (in order to end the conflict of interest, increase transparency and conditions conducive to attracting foreign private investment) is fundamental to the development of the country. In this context, Law No. 5/19 of 18 April - Law amending the Law on Petroleum Activities, which introduces a new model of organization in the regulation of petroleum activities, with the implementation of the National Petroleum and Gas Agency (ANPG), established as a National Concessionaire and holder of mining rights in Angola".
