The lawyer analyses the concept of "data subject's consent" and its legal nature, as well as the main practical problems raised by such consent in the context of the Internet. In this analysis she highlights, namely, the insufficiency of the specific legislation on data protection - notwithstanding its centrality and without prejudice of the fact that the concept of "consent" allows, given its elasticity and porosity, various densifications - and the importance of the contribution of civil dogmatics.
