João Vieira de Almeida (Managing Partner) signed the Statement from Business Leaders for Renewed Global Cooperation, a United Nations initiative on the occasion of its 75th anniversary to mobilize international cooperation, bringing businesses and the United Nations closer together.

The Statement from Business Leaders for Renewed Global Cooperation, which aims to put a human face on the global market, was signed by over 1,200 CEOs from more than 100 countries, who have thus demonstrated their support for the United Nations. 

In the spirit of renewed global cooperation, the signatories commit to:

  • Demonstrating ethical leadership and good governance through values-based strategies, policies and cooperation;
  • Investing in addressing systemic inequalities and injustices;
  • Working together with the UN, government and civil society to improve access to justice, ensure accountability and transparency, provide legal certainty, promote equality and abide by human rights.
