Tomás de Brito Paulo participates in the European Consortium for Communication of Information on Gene and Cellular Therapies (EuroGCT), by publishing legal texts on the processing of genetic data in the context of gene and cell therapy.
Together with Professor Vera Lúcia Raposo, of NOVA School of Law, three entries were published: Data Classification, Main Principles and Data Protection Authorities.
EuroGCT is funded by the EU and brings together 47 partner organisations and institutions across Europe to provide reliable and accessible information to the research community, regulators and health authorities, as well as patients, health professionals and citizens in general on the use of cells and genetic material to treat diseases.
