Assunção Cristas, Carlos Couto, Isabel Gião de Andrade and Miguel Ventura have written the Portugal chapter for the Chambers Global Practice Guide: ESG 2025, a publication featuring contributions from jurisdictions worldwide.

The 2025 guide looks at the latest ESG regulatory requirements, from green finance and sustainability-related obligations to ESG due diligence, transparency and reporting, taxation, as well as climate activism and ESG litigation.

In the chapter dedicated to Portugal, VdA's lawyers analyse the main developments in the national and European legal framework and their respective impacts on companies and investors.
