Sofia Neves Taveira (senior associate) is interviewed by the online publication “Olhar Direito” on the “Current state of the Portuguese Justice System”.

The senior associate answers questions on the troubles that complicate the judicial systems development, although there are promises to make the much-needed reforms.

The lawyer presents some solutions for the problems of the judicial system and states that “the legal support is only applicable to a small percentage of the society, with very low income, and it becomes urgent to change Trial Costs Regulation that is completely inadequate and limits people’s access to the Law and Courts.”
