The Jornal de Negócios has spoken to Tiago Marreiros Moreira, amongst others, about the unconstitutionality of any retroactive application of the proposed law that the Government wishes to bring before Parliament. A resolution signed by 67 tax specialists, including the VdA partner responsible for the Tax area, was also given a public airing.

Tiago Marreiros Moreira spoke again to the Jornal de Negócios, for its 30th April edition, on the same topic. He explained how the sale of equity shares was covered by the proposal as it specifies a new IRS tax rate of 20% on the capital gains made from any such sale.
