Nuno Ruiz, partner in the Competition & EU department, has been quoted in an article in Jornal Económico about the European legislation that in mid-January 2019 established more powers for the competition authorities of each member state, when the ECN+ Directive was published (2019/1, 11 December 2018).
The lawyer admits that “the competition policies included in the Government’s proposal on the reform of financial supervision may be incompatible with that law”.
