Sara Pinto Ferreira will take part as a guest speaker at the NewSpace Winter School, a training programme dedicated to the space sector, taking place from 10 to 14 February and centred on the NewSpace paradigm.

On 12 February, the VdA consultant will deliver a lecture on 'Space Law', covering the main concepts, principles and rules in this area. The session will include an overview of the legal framework applicable to the space sector at international, European and national level, with a particular focus on Portuguese law, as well as a brief discussion of the key issues and challenges currently shaping the field.

The NewSpace Winter School is organised by the Espaço ao Cubo Association and forms part of a multidisciplinary programme combining lectures, practical workshops and a final hackathon, promoting knowledge-sharing and bringing together law, technology and innovation in the space sector.
