Assunção Cristas is a speaker at the CNN Portugal Summit "Green Economy", an initiative that aims to present the best practices in this area and promote the debate on the future of public policies.
The VdA lawyer will take part in the panel on "A new paradigm for economic growth based on sustainability", alongside Helena Freitas, author of the roadmap for carbon neutrality, and Pedro Matos Soares, scientific coordinator of the National Roadmap for Adaptation, moderated by Pedro Benevides, from CNN Portugal.
Opening the event will be Maria da Graça Carvalho, Minister for the Environment and Energy, who will present the theme "A policy for a more environmental economy", moderated by Anselmo Crespo, from CNN Portugal. In turn, Jorge Moreira da Silva, Under-Secretary-General of the United Nations, will participate as keynote speaker in a session on "A fairer and more solidary transition".
The CNN Portugal Summit will take place on 18 October, at the Centro Cultural de Belém, in Lisbon.
