Manuel Cavaleiro Brandão was invited to speak at the 1st Sports Justice Congress, organised by the Court of Arbitration for Sport (TAD). The participation of the VdA lawyer was part of the panel entitled "Arbitration of sports labour conflicts".

The 1st Sports Justice Congress was held on 16 and 17 May in the Auditorium of the Faculty of Law in Lisbon, with the aim of promoting dialogue and reflection on sports justice, contributing to the study and evolution of sports law.

To this end, the event's programme included presentations on topics such as "The sports justice model we have and the justice model we want - Arbitration and Measurement or a return to administrative jurisdiction?", "International experiences of alternative means of resolving sports disputes", among others.
