Catarina Pinto Correia will participate on 10 September in a debate on ‘Investment in Irrigation: what's new?’, to be held in Santarém, as part of the 10th edition of Agroglobal.
This event will also be attended by José Núncio (FENAREG), José Diogo Albuquerque, Rogério Ferreira (DGADR), António Carmona Rodrigues (AdP – Águas de Portugal), José Pedro Salema (EDIA), Francisco Gomes da Silva (AGROGES) and José Manuel Fernandes, Minister of Agriculture and the Sea.
Promoted by FENAREG – Federação Nacional de Regantes de Portugal (National Federation of Irrigators of Portugal), in partnership with AGROGES – Sociedade de Estudos e Projetos, Lda. and VdA, this initiative is part of a series of events marking the 20th anniversary of FENAREG, and aims to create a space for reflection and dialogue on the challenges and opportunities of investment in irrigation in Portugal.
At a time when sustainability, water efficiency and agricultural financing are gaining renewed importance, especially in the context of the new Common Agricultural Policy (CAP), the debate will bring together experts from different fields to discuss the latest developments and outline strategies for the future of the sector.
