Ana Perestrelo de Oliveira will participate on 29 September in the event “10 Years of the SRM – A Decade Delivering a More Resilient Financial System”, organised by the Bank of Portugal in Lisbon.

The conference celebrates a decade of the Single Resolution Mechanism (SRM), reflecting on its contribution to building a more robust and resilient European financial system.

Ana Perestrelo de Oliveira will be part of the panel "The Legal Frontiers of Banking Resolution: A Decade of Case Law in the Banking Union”, moderated by Gonçalo Castilho dos Santos (General Counsel of the Bank of Portugal), which will also feature Karl-Philipp Wojcik (European Commission / former General Counsel of the Single Resolution Board) and Carlos Costa Pina (SRS Legal / former Secretary of State for the Treasury and Finance).

The debate will provide an opportunity to analyse the main legal challenges of bank resolution in the European Union and the lessons learned from its application over the last decade.
