Lisbon Atlantic Conference - at a time when the topic Sea is of particular importance for the future of Portugal , VdA is associated with the commitment of knowledge and appreciation of the Sea Economy
Margarida Couto, TMT VdA partner, will moderate the " VIII Roundtable - Technology and Researcher - Support to the blue growth " at the Lisbon Atlantic Conference , an event that will take place in December, 4 -5, at the Lisbon Congress Center .
The LAC 2013 will identify future opportunities within the EU on national strategies for the Sea and respective action plans , aiming to achieve smart , sustainable and inclusive growth in the Atlantic Ocean and its coastal areas.
It also intends to provide alignment in the startup of future operational programs of the State Members under the European Structural Funds and Investment 2014-2020 , ensuring that the needs of research and innovation for blue growth are well implemented , particularly those challenges related with Horizon 2020.
This conference also aims to bring EU state members and the neighboring states of the Atlantic at the American and African continents .
