Catarina Pinto Correia is taking part in the 1st Congress on Algae Biotechnology, taking place from 9 to 11 April at the Association for the Technological Pole of Lisbon (LISPOLIS).
On 10 April, between 12:00 and 13:00, Catarina Pinto Correia will moderate the panel ‘The Future of Algae in Global Policy and Economics’. This panel will include Helena Vieira (coordinating researcher and ERA chair holder, University of Aveiro), Gabriel Acien (vice-president of the European Algae Biomass Association), Laura Maragna (EU4Algae project manager, EurA) and Helena Abreu (president of the International Seaweed Association).
The event addresses the algae value chain, from research and development to commercialisation, highlighting biotechnological innovations and market opportunities to promote a more sustainable and economically viable sector.
