VdA represented in the World Initiative of Mining Lawyers

João Afonso Fialho, VdA partner, and Ângela Viana, senior associate, are the VdA lawyers attending the 4^th Annual WIOML Conference, which brings together lawyers and other professionals worldwide in the mining industry.

This year's conference, in which João Afonso Fialho was responsible for the initial welcome address, focuses in particular on issues of financing and mining operations, competition and conflict resolution in the mining, environmental, human rights, and local communities, mining contracts, and mineral policies in Lusophone countries.

In this context, the lawyer Ângela Viana participates in the panel dedicated to the Lusophone Africa - Mining Policies in Africa Part II - (Lusophone Africa and the African Mining Vision / WIOML Model Mining Code).
