Maria de Lurdes Gonçalves (senior associate) participated as guest speaker at the Brazilian law firm “Arystóbulo Freitas Advogados” on the “European experience with GDPR and outloooks for Brazil”, which took place on October 21st in São Paulo.
The lawyer made a presentation on the current challenges of data protection, the effects of GDPR on the recently approved Brazilian Data Protection General Law, as well as the synergies that can come from the European experience for the Brazilian organizations.
