As part of the partnership between VdA Academia and the Portuguese Insurers’ Association (APS), the fifth of eleven courses within the 2025 Training Cycle will take place on 15 May: “Compliance in the Insurance Sector”. 

Mafalda Rodrigues Branco and Filipa Baeta will lead this session, which will focus on criminal and administrative offence liability in the insurance industry. The aim is to prepare participants with skills to identify legal infractions and to understand the responsibilities applicable to both individuals and corporate entities (insurers). 

The training will be held at the APS headquarters in Lisbon on 15 May, from 09:15 am to 12:30 pm. It is intended not only for administrators, directors, and professionals working in legal, compliance, and internal audit departments, but also for other practitioners with an interest in the topic.
