At a time when foundational national and European legislation on voluntary carbon markets has been published, and the first methodology for afforestation in Portugal is being developed, it is crucial to broaden the perspective and engage in discussions about financing nature and climate. We will bring together representatives from the public and private sectors in two roundtables to discuss the potential and opportunities of nature-based and technology-based solutions.
The event will feature an opening address by Ana Teresa Peres, President of the Climate Agency, and will be moderated by Assunção Cristas and Catarina Pinto Correia, partners heading the Environment & Climate practice at VdA.
