Verônica Jalowitzki de Quadros
Verônica Jalowitzki de Quadros joined VdA in 2023. She is an Associate in the Banking & Finance practice.
She has been actively involved in various transactions, notably securitisation deals and other structured finance and capital markets transactions. She also has experience in the incorporation of payment service providers and electronic money issuers, having advised such institutions.
She also provides legal advice in the derivatives sector, with experience in drafting and negotiating derivatives contracts, in particular ISDA contracts.
Before joining the Banking & Finance practice, Verônica was a trainee in the Infrastructure & Mobility practice.
Galp Academic Award, awarded by Galp, for completing the coursework component of the Master’s in Law and Management with the second-highest average mark in the cohort.
Manuel de Andrade Award, awarded by the University of Coimbra, for completing the Bachelor’s degree with the highest final average mark.
Wolters Kluwer Academic Award, awarded by the University of Coimbra, for completing the Bachelor’s degree with a final average grade of over 15.
Dr Beleza dos Santos Academic Award, awarded by the University of Coimbra, for achieving the highest mark in the field of Legal and Criminal Sciences.

Postgraduate degree in Competition Law and Regulation from the University of Lisbon.
Master’s degree in Law and Management from the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon and the Higher Institute of Economics and Management, with a thesis entitled: “The admissibility of personal databases as collateral in financing contracts: an analysis in light of the General Data Protection Regulation”.
Lecturer at the Faculty of Law of the University of Coimbra, teaching Civil Contracts, Property Law, Family and Minors’ Law, and Family Property and Succession Law.
Before joining the firm, she worked as a summer intern at KPMG, in the Financial Services Tax department.
