Francisco Resina da Silva
Francisco Resina da Silva joined VdA in 2023. He is an Associate in the Banking & Finance practice, advising on a broad range of financial transactions and regulatory matters, both domestically and internationally. His experience encompasses acquisition financing, where he advises clients throughout the entire transaction, from initial structuring to completion, including the preparation and negotiation of financing documentation and the implementation of complex security packages under Portuguese Law. He is also regularly involved in capital markets transactions, including covered bond issuances and public offerings of bonds; due diligence exercises in support of M&A transactions, with a focus on reviewing the financial documentation; and receivables assignment transactions. Additionally, he has gained experience assisting with regulatory authorisation processes before the Bank of Portugal.
Francisco has also worhed within the Real Estate & Planning practice, advising clients across the real estate sector on a variety of transactional and corporate matters. His experience includes assisting with legal due diligence in the context of M&A transactions, as well as providing support on the daily corporate affairs of various entities.
