António Santos e Silva
António Santos e Silva joined VdA in 2019. He is an Associate in the Banking & Finance practice, mainly focused on financial law matters, regulations, and transactions.
He has also been actively advising on corporate and real estate finance, private and public offerings, debt restructuring, and securitisations.
Previously he was a trainee in the Corporate and M&A practice area of VdA.
In 2020 and 2021, António worked has a secondee at a real estate fund management firm.
Between 2023 and 2024, he worked at the London office of Dentons UK and Middle East LLP, within its Banking & Finance practice area, mainly on securitisation transactions and other structured finance transactions.
Law degree from the Faculty of Law of the Catholic University of Portugal (Lisbon School).
Master’s degree in Business Law from the Faculty of Law of the Catholic University of Portugal (Lisbon School), with a dissertation entitled "Retirement Pensions of Directors of Public Limited Companies".
In 2018, before joining VdA, António completed a summer internship at the law firm Carlos Pinto de Abreu & Associados.
Author of Reforma dos Administradores das Sociedades Anónimas (Retirement Pensions of Directors of Public Limited Companies), published by Almedina (2025).
Admitted to the Portuguese Bar Association.
