Ana Sofia Alcaide joined VdA in 2024. She is a trainee in the Banking & Finance practice.
She has been involved in syndicated financing transactions, commercial paper issuance programmes and bank financing, supporting clients from the initial structuring through to the completion of the transaction, with a particular focus on negotiating contractual documentation and setting up complex security arrangements under Portuguese law. She also assists with regulatory authorisation procedures with the Bank of Portugal.
Before joining this team, she worked as a Trainee Lawyer in VdA’s Corporate and M&A practice, where she had the opportunity to work on some of the market’s leading transactions, particularly in the areas of M&A and corporate restructuring.
