Patrícia Lemos Peixoto

Joined VdA in 2022. Associate of the Investigations & White-Collar practice.

Has handled various criminal cases, with a focus on economic and financial crimes, and regulatory and administrative offences, particularly in the banking, communications, insurance, health, pharmaceutical, and energy sectors, covering various fields of law, including competition, environmental, and privacy law.

Regularly advises both national and multinational organisations on the design and development of compliance programmes to prevent corruption, combat money laundering and terrorist financing, and protect whistleblowers.

Prof. Doutor Cavaleiro de Ferreira Academic Prize: prize awarded to the undergraduate student who obtained the best grade in Criminal Procedure and General Theory of Crime and Punishment.

Prof. Doutor Carvalho Fernandes Academic Prize: prize awarded to the undergraduate student who obtained the best grade in General Theory of Legal Business.

National winner of the “Youth Parliament Report”competition.

Awarded third place nationally in the Young Business Talent economics and management competition.

Law degree from the Faculty of Law of Católica University, Lisbon.

Participated in the Executive Civil Procedure Conference held at the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon in 2022. 

Before joining VdA, she carried out a professional internship at the law firm PLMJ Advogados, SP, RL and two summer internships at the law firms Cuatrecasas, Gonçalves Pereira & Associados and Cardigos & Associados.

Admitted to the Portuguese Bar Association.
