Led by Beta-i and co-lead by Fórum Oceano the project "Atlantic Smart Ports Blue Acceleration Network (AspBAN)", funded by EMFF - European Maritime and Fisheries Fund brings together 13 partners (among Accelerators, Clusters, and entities linked to funding and policy), with the support of more than 120 strategic partners and the involvement of a total of 391 Ports.

The project aims to lay the foundations for the construction of a platform of acceleration services, transforming the EU Atlantic Ports into Blue Economy Hubs, diversifying their business models and revenue sources.

The main objectives of the project include the attraction of 450 startups for an acceleration programme; the selection of 30 startups that will be able to develop pilots in 30 Atlantic Ports; the attraction of €6 million of private investment for the selected startups; the mobilisation of €4.5 billion of potential private investment; the reduction of 100,000 tonnes of CO2 in the operations of 30 Ports.
